That is the air inlet as you mentioned but its tough to determine if the actuator is stripped or the lever on the door. I would lean more towards the actuator # 68089742AA as being the issue.

A really cost effective and great solution is the Black Quads which I personally like, These are plug and play and can be found here https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/68270496ad-68270497ae.html

A projector set will run over 700 with black housings.

Benny @AllMoparParts.com I need the part number for the radiator cover as seen in the attachment.

I cut the top up to fit a Vararam but have since removed that CAI and need an “untainted” one.

Hello Benny, I’m looking to go back to my factory exhaust system. This is for a 2019 ( DT ) 5.7 Hemi Crew cab with the 5.7 bed. I’ll need what would have been taken off to install my current Borla system please. Or you can pm me exactly what’s needed please.
