New to the forum and new Dodge owner. Bought an 88 D150 with the 5.2, just over 100k miles. The TBI is not working well, and when I got it, the cat had already been cut out and pipes welded up. Pulled the motor recently and have it stripped down, but decided to do the carb swap and pull the smog stuff off since it was all plugged/disconnected/non-existent already. Thinking that I may run down to one of the local salvage yards here and grab an 1987 or earlier intake manifold, instead of buying one from Summit. Does anyone know if a pre-88 intake manifold will bolt right up to my 88? Thanks.
