About a month ago I reported that I think they are already filling the tanks with the winter blend & that I had lost about 1mpg. Over the last couple of weeks it has really taken a dump! All summer I was getting 15-16. Now Lie-O-Meter is only averaging around 11.5 going back & forth to work. Nothing like the 3.6 V6 in my '14 Durango, but it can't haul 1,500lbs of wood in the back of that either! :naughty: I have never seen that big of a shift in any of my other vehicles before. Usually lose 1-2mpg.

I had the same result as you last year. Worst drop in mileage of any vehicle I've had with winter blend and cold temps.

I'm seeing that too but not quite as bad. Usually see 15-16 on EVIC now I'm having trouble staying above 14.

Agreed these 6.4 in the HD trucks take a big hit in the winter months with gas consumption.....noticed this last winter, which was not that cold either, went from pretty decent summer mpg's for the truck we drive to **** real fast when the colder weather arrived.
With the "normal" cdn winter forecasted for this year, I am wondering if it will get worse.

I'm in the same boat. I'm getting 12-13 on the EVIC now, and it was usually over 15 in the warmer months. I might try going back to the 89 octane to see if that helps. But, at least it doesn't go down all that much when I'm in 4-dig.

All Summer I was holding 16.5~17.2 and the last two tanks have dropped to 14.

wife has been using my truck in the mornings, was blaming her driving style on the poor average fuel economy.. maybe it's the gas! either way, not letting her win this one :p
