Every time I open the hood to check things over the trans dipstick is always out and inch or two? Like high pressure is blowing it out? Anyone else had this problem? I don't want dust and dirt going in there from gravel roads.

Mine does it also. Maybe a 1/2" every 500-750 miles of operation. Have not gotten around to looking into it or taking it to the dealer yet. There is no friction fit with the pull tap end and the o-rings that are on there. Thought about trying some thicker o-rings.

Mine actually had a clip around the tube with a lever that went over the end of the dipstick to hold it in but something happened to it. I am thinking that the last DB to check the fluid pulled it off and tossed it. I can't find a part number for it and haven't been able to get to the dealer parts counter to ask yet.
