I painted the resonator with black high-heat stove 1200° paint so it doesn't show so much.

Nice.

You didn't waste anytime with mods.

Thanks! Well -- Truth is -- They're not really MODS -- more like enhancements. I'll let the dust settle after I've finished. I have to add a tailgate liner -- Decided on the weathertech because no drilling and molded to fit.

After that -- I'm not sure what I'll do next. Probably lighting. :)

If I may, I'd suggest you forget about mats and tailgate covers in favor of a spray in liner.

Those mats and covers scratch the heck out of the paint, trap dirt and moisture under them and generally shorten the life of your bed sheet metal.

Bedliners do with their hard plastic, sharp edges and tendency to move in the bed. They scratch and hold moisture.

Some bed mats can too. The Dee Zee is one of the few that use soft rubber bumps on the bottom to keep it suspended off the truck to keep water from collecting. It is extremely grippy and doesn't move.

I know a lot of guys with these -- most have a bedliner or spray in bedliner and they get this and use it OVER them because it's so grippy. I'll probably line-x it before long and then lay this back over it.

Thanks for your suggestion!

That's not a bad plan. I've had experience with both and much prefer the bed liner to preserve the bed sheet metal and I add a grippy bed mat on top of it.

You mean a "spray in bedliner" to preserve the sheet metal?

For me -- BOTTOM LINE: What's nice is this stuff is so cheap I don't have to decide now what I want to do to a brand new truck. For $66 for the Mat and $56 for the Tail Gate Mat -- I'm all set for the short term without having to deal with it.

Also -- South Florida is great for truck management. It's so easy to keep your stuff nice and nothing rusts -- unless you live near the ocean or the gulf. The sun is straight up 9 months out of the year and steams moisture away by noon every day as stuff gets so darn hot.

I installed a set of LED Cargo Lights and LED Reverse Lights.

Hi Guys!!!

Today I installed a set of LED Cargo Lights and LED Reverse Lights. These are BRIGHT!

Cargo: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M13CB62

Reverse: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DGC885C

NOTE: The Reverse Bulbs are 7440 if you have the FACTORY LED Tails. Otherwise, I believe you need the 921 Bulbs.

Here are some nighttime pictures. THEY ARE AWESOME backup lights.

Cargo LED's at night. I wanted something to match the LED Bed Lights.

67Guzzler, I am going to order the backup lights from Amazon on your recommendation.
Is that safe to say?

After 12 hours of usage, I'm very pleased. If your truck has factory LED tail lights and takes 7440 for the reverse bulb, these are very nice.

Really bright!
