Want your truck in a video? EMAIL YOUR PICS TO ME!!!

[email protected]

I'll gather the pics and start working on a video with some music to it. Sort of a RamForum.com member tribute if you will.

Just a few items to consider...

1. Size the photo to 1920 x 1200 pixels. I can work with other sizes but it sucks to do so. :)

2. Make the photo a .jpg or .jpeg file.

3. It doesn't have to be a show truck or anything fancy. Just put up YOUR favorite.

4. You can post more than one pic but I'll be the final judge on which one to use. :)

5. I like to start with about 35 photos per show but I have no problem adding more.

Here is a sample of the video I'll make.

Click on the link below. If you are asked to download the Photodex presenter, go ahead. It's benign.

Once you've clicked on the link and the show has come up, click on the avatar in the center of screen then when the show starts, look for the popup control bar and click on the full screen icon at the bottom right of the bar.

Dreams

Not sure quite what size this will show up as. I haven't figured out how to upload larger pictures as some of the guys on here. When I try uploading like with photo bucket it tell me it's invalid. If you know how I can upload a larger one, please let me know and I'll delete this one and load a larger one.

That'll work, bud. I can click on the attachment and the native size comes through fine.

Uploading from Photobucket works pretty darn well.

Just go to PB, find your picture, click on it to display it, then click on the "Direct" link box in PB. It will change color and say "Copied".

Then come back to the forum, click on the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the Message window, right click in the open space, click on the "CTRL" button on your keyboard, hold it down, then click on your "V" button and the URL of the image will fill in the blank.
I think there is a How To here.

Part of your problem may be the size of your pics.

Which one did you end up using? My first post or the second one? I'll delete the one you didn't use lol. Thanks for the tips.

Actually if you would prefer a 1920x1080 I figured out how to resize them and get them to load haha..

Good deal. I'm using my phone to post the pic.. so on my end the resolution looks distorted and the image is pixelated. Couldn't allow a cruddy image lol

Yeah, I'm hoping to get enough pictures to make a full video of 4 - 5 minutes in length.

And yes, I'll post it up here.
