2014 recall question

I've received the R23, R36 and R47 recalls. What a pain!! To you who have had the recalls performed already, I assume that these recalls involve flashing the PCM/ECM (computer)? Has anyone had an issue with non-recall related items being affected by the computer flash? For instance, poorer vehicle performance, lower gas mileage, other drivablility issues? I'm nervous about getting these done because I really like my truck just the way it is. I don't want new problems and I've heard stories of such things happening with modern vehicles. Thanks for your thoughts and feedback.

I got the r23 and r36 done this week, but they told me that was all there was, no r47 for me in the system. Was r47 not on all Rams?? Btw, noticed nothing after the recalls, but I expected such, recalls did nothing to change or alter the daily use of the truck.

23 is a flash,
36 is inspect/correct 'wire chafe' behind the steering wheel airbag,
47 is inspect the side curtain airbags above/behind headliner. 47 is for quad cabs only.
40 is reprogram the radio (upload software) to avoid 'vulnerability/hacking'

Mine was a bit 'different' immediately afterwards as the battery was disconnected during the recall work. (Clock was off when I got it back)
Drove it a while and everything 'relearned' itself back to where it was before.

All of those recalls are safety related. They have nothing to do with driveability. It's unlikely anything will be done to the engine management system.

Had all mine done this past Friday, along with about 4 other updates, truck seems the same, maybe a smidge better (there was a PCM update, trans seems to be a bit smoother).

Got all my recalls done yesterday, Was in and out in about an 1.5 hrs. They also had two other updates for the trans. Seems to be shifting smoother. Time will tell.

No issues with the recent recalls on my truck:

1. Occupant Restraint System - flash
2. Steering wheel wiring update - no flash

No issues on the performance side, that said I've yet to see the R47 Recall notice so I looked in our system as well as online and apparently my '14 produced after mid-'13 isn't affected on the R47.

Strange , my 14 is effected and mine was a build date of September 2013 ?

Mine is a QC though
