Does anyone else have rattles from in & out the cab?

I have a 2016 Ram R/T w/ 35,000 miles and for the last 10,000 miles the truck has gotten some rattles thats driving me crazy. The driver's side mirror has a rattle that sounds like something metal hitting everytime I hit a bump. When I pull the mirrors in the sound goes away but when I extend them back out straight the sound comes right back. The mirrors are the Sport mirrors w/ the led light. I cant figure out how to get it apart to see whats going on? Do all have any insight on how to get the mirror apart or what is causing it?

Also my passenger door has a rattle inside the door that appears everything the bass on the radio hits (I have the bass turned all the way down & still doing it) or when you hit a bump even when the radio is off so its not a speaker.

Any help would be awesome

I have a 2011 and have exactly the same issue with the mirror. Drives me nuts.

Good luck, tracking down rattles can be a serious PITA. Best thing you can do is just take things apart gently, and try to fix anything that even looks like it might make a noise. I have a bunch of camper foam tape underneath my dash to help keep things quiet. Such is the bane of these newer vehicles where everything is made of plastic.

My driver side tow mirror rattles. I also have a rattle somewhere in the cab that sounds like maybe the passenger door or rear somewhere. Drives me crazy.

My rattle comes from my driver's side step rail, it's just the motivation that I need to take them off.

So far no rattles except from the Spohn Arms that take constant adjustment.... and to be honest I'm surprised I have noticed any with the condition of the roads out here, and having a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway that beats on the truck a lot too.

But it could also be I don't hear them cause a loud stereo fixes the rattles :roflsquared:

I had no rattles originally but did have a whistling A/C. The dealer fixed the whistle but had to pull the dash to get to the bad seal.
Now I have lots of rattles and some vibrations. Fu@k!!!!
All at 10,000 miles

I have a rattle that sounds to be from the passenger side inside somewhere. I've been searching for it for weeks now with zero luck. Drives me crazy.

With 48k on the truck I've been very happy that it has no rattles. the only time there is any noise is when the passenger side seat belt buckle is in a certain position and it hits against the door panel, but all I have to do is adjust the buckle and its quiet again.

I havent seen any Rams at my dealer for cab rattle comcerns. But.... my Ram has this annoying rattle when going over a rough surface. I hear it behind driver seat, around the B pillar/rear door area. I have taken panels out on my down time but cant seem to find it. Its been like 6 months and no luck yet.

Hi VB712,

I did find a STAR case that addresses rattles in the right side of the instrument panel. Not sure if that is far enough over for what you're hearing, but the case is S1323000037 if you decide to visit your dealership to check it out further.

Maybe yours was assembled on a friday afternoon or monday morning. Knock on wood, mine doesn't have many rattles. the glove box door sometimes squeaks a bit but not constant.

Hell yeah;;;

I have a rattle coming from the passenger side somewhere...it sounded like the jack under the seat but after tightening, its still there. It is driving me crazy

So I have this annoying rattle that seems to be coming from inside the door or b pillar, only on tiny bumps when going slow.. I've take my truck apart trying to find it.

it sounds like something is hitting my amp steps, like a hollow sound, I've removed them and still hear it.

Could this be the mirror? I have a towing mirrors...

So I haven't really got much but I did notice for a bit I was getting a rattle clunk sound passenger side b pillar quickly figure it out that it was my seat belt buckle hit the the plastic still does it to this day and still just as annoying but I live with it

Rattles

If anyone has a sunroof the metal brackets between the headliner and roof tend to rattle over certain bumps. I've had this problem.
