Looking at a 2017, have a problem

Every 2017 1500 that I find which has EVERY option I want including the Alpine setup.......... Also has those stupid mickey mouse trailer mirrors. Dont want them! Can they be swapped out for plain old mirrors? I really dont care if they are power folders or have the turn signals in them. I want a particular truck but I just hate those freaking towing mirrors! :thumbsdown:

Of course they can be swapped out and it would be easy to make it part of the deal to buy it. I got my dealer to add a lift, swap chrome door handles for body color handles, remove chrome door molding, and remove the "ram 1500" on the doors as part of the deal.

they are a simple swap - worst case, MOST members on here prefer the tow mirrors..you'll have no problem finding a member to trade mirrors with on here.

I'm probably going to see what I can do on it tomorrow. They are already $13k off sticker and I think I might be able to milk a little more out of them. For some reason I though I saw that you have to swap mirror modules in the door and mess with the sales codes. I didn't know how willing the dealer would be to do that.

whats even worse is the guys who have tow mirrors flipped up when not towing. Its looks absolutely stupid

I came up on a Ram the other day going down the hwy that had his up, I got about 4 cars behind him and hit the brakes.
Wife asked what I was doing and I then informed her that we almost hit his ghost trailer and it was a close call...

Yeah I gave up on finding one at a good deal with 3:92s and drove one with 3:31 or what ever they are. it will smoke the tires so good enough..lol

like said it will be easy to find someone on here to want to swap with you, but the trick will be finding someone local because if not it means somebody has to park their truck for a while waiting for mirrors to be shipped.
