I get this every now and then if I run my truck really hard and at high speed for a few miles.... runs fine drives fine while driving it like its stolen while responding to an accident (bad one) but once I got back in my truck and on my way home I get this really bad wobble of vibration but then it goes away on it own once I drive it again...

Has me really scratching my head

Could you be more specific as to what part of the truck it's coming from?

Is it a suspension wobble, or more like a drivetrain vibration?

Thank You,

But being I am out of warranty and so modified I think I am beyond a dealer repair visit, I'm on my own to figure this one out.

do you think it's due to being at 3/5 and not having the rear upper and lower control arms in the correct location.... geometry is off maybe causing the drive shaft give those issues?

I second quicksilver. I went through this whole phase of dangerous wobbling after hitting dips on the highway, and drivetrain vibration.

- I Installed Hellwig front and rear swar bars to keep the truck from going back and forth (Which you already have)
- I ditched the Belltech shocks for QA1's (Set 12 front, 10 Rear) fixed the remaining wobble
- To fix the drivetrain vibration I had the relocation brackets installed for the control arms

Seems to be running great now.

Your Spohn Arms could have come out of adjustment as well, since you've not experienced this until recently.

Ive wondered this and have played with all sorts of adjustments to get rid of it with no luck. My next plan of attack is to shim the trans to reset the drive angle and redo the pinion angle again to match.

But i have a feeling its somthing in the rear diff. But thats just a gut feeling and doesnt quite feel like it hence my being puzzled.
