Thank you for the compliments!! Got lucky on the install :). The way it sits now it rides MUCH BETTER! And let me explain as some folks think you're crazy for making that kind of statement.

Since I already had the wheel/tire combo, this is ALL suspension related. I had my Bils @ 2.1 and a 1" spacer in the rear. Truck rode great though not exactly as "nice " as it did when stock but I really liked it. When I had the 4" lift installed, I had them adjust the Bils down to .7 and did not reinstall the rear spacer. So...........there is now less preload on the front springs and the lift came with new progressive rate rears so now the truck feels much more balanced front to back when you hit bumps and expansion joints going down the road. The truck rides AMAZING, could not be happier at the moment!

Think you might have sold me on a superlift!

I am very happy with mine and I don't think you'd be disappointed.

IMHO, the rear components make the biggest difference in ride quality. Since all kits are pretty much the same up front, how the rear suspension is cared for makes a bigger impact to the overall ride. Whether it's new coils vs spacers or caring for all the rear attachment points to bring the axle into correct alignment, it's my opinion this is what differentiates the brands currently available.

RESEARCH, RESEARCH, and RESEARCH some more..............then make informed decisions.................

Superlift fit the bill for me :favorites13:

Working on getting some better pics but here is a shot of the front end, cv's look'n really good!

Took a nice trip with the wife today and got to drive at sustained HWY speeds, glad to report back smooth as glass up to 80mph and no quirky handling.

I absolutely agree with you on the rear components. Quality components equal a quality ride. I have been looking around to see who provides coils rather than spacers with their kits. Some include both... I'm not fond of doing the whole spacer thing though. My last truck was a lifted chevy with a procomp lift and that was just a spacer under the leaf springs. Needless to say the ride was a little on the rough side.

Having trouble finding time to get the truck cleaned up and do a "photo shoot" but here is another pic from the phone.

Oh ya, still fits in the garage!

So I have a question, how do you post multiple pics on one post? Does it not work correctly since I'm on my iPhone?

Another random pic

Tapatalk app does wonders for phone use.

IMO
If you like the way Tapatalk is and you haven't done so already .... DO NOT INSTALL THE NEW UPDATE 5.6.1 , IMO it SUCKS !
The feed is way different and frustrating!

It takes a while to get use to. I hated it at first. My only real complaint is, it's a bit difficult to see if you're sub'd to a thread if you're not paying attention and scrolling through kinda fast

Time to get back to the first page of threads...........

So I made the first long hwy trip, took the little ones to visit Grandma up in Bristol and averaged 15 mpg on the way up, 15.6 on the way home. Most of the trip I was traveling between 75-80 so not too bad but not great either.
