I'll post again now that I have tires. It's a 2.1 bilstein with factory rims and factory size BFG all terrains.

Luke

The stock sized tires look pretty good actually.

I finally decided at 2.8 in the front with 1" spacers COMING SOON in the rear. Might do them today..

My Install Tips

1) If you dont have much for supporting the caliper, CAT5 cable works too if you're a computer guy
2) For installing the top nut... Vice grip a deep socket in place and apply leverage as shown in the pic to a long Allen wrench... Worked great for me.

so i have a outdoorsman, want to put the bill on, right now the rear sits at 39.5, and the front sits about 33.5 or so. these are with stock 17 inch rims and the stock 265/60/r20 on it. someone said that the outdoorsman sits 3/4 higher in the front then other rams. what should I set my bias at when i get them. 2.1 or 2.8. I want a levelled look.

I think you should remeasure or check your numbers first.

How do you have 20 tire's on 17 rims?
Are you measuring from ground or center of wheel- hub?

This is an urban legend based on the fact that the older TRX4 trucks were taller. The Outdoorsman is the same height as the regular 1500, all the front suspension parts are the same. Stock front ends, Outdoorsman or not, typically measure 36.5"-37" stock. I hope you aren't at 33.5" :Big Laugh:

So that's 3" of rake... And if my math is correct... 2.8 would be the closest to 3.. It'd be 2.8 for me.

Now, if tripower is correct by saying it's not any different than normal 1500s... Then 2.1 seems to be the happy number for level.
