I feel like I just watched Clark Kent walk into a phone booth. Lol. Nice transformation. Truck looks awesome but its still hard for me to picture the 1.4 level because of the 4" lift. Love the white letters on that truck.

Haha thank you, it's my old truck, had 3/4" of rake after I put the Bils to 1.4 i have a 2500 now [emoji16]56b9d2f95005b36da17b5ed3b16873cb.jpg8269dc6851b3a83972125977f0adbedc.jpg

Badass trucks. Both of them. You're factory rake must have been minimal if the 1.4 setting almost evened you out. Right now if I measured correctly, my back sits 3" higher than my front so even at 2.1 I'll still have a rake, which is ok for me. The reason I was considering 1.4 was because I was going to keep the original tire size. I really wanted to upsize but I just think going to an E load tire is overkill. Lots of added weight and that concerns me.

After the lift I still had almost 2" of rake. Factory was around 3. The added weight is one reason I bumped up to a 2500, suspension components are way more HD and I have 4.10 gears vs 3.55s I had lol. I hear the 2.1 is the best for just under level. Leaves you with 1/4-3/4" as each truck is a little different. My 2500 has come a ways too lol 36e1ba3cfdaf22ef729e7c5eb7a0f761.jpg0f5a1974172a88360ef3b3b44ac082aa.jpg

My friend has his at 2.1. We just put 305/55/20's on it. Basically a 33/12.50. It looks great

Could you post a pic of your friend's truck? Did he install spacers in the rear? I was planning only doing 2.1's on the front, but can't decide what size tire would fit the space nicely.

I'll have to grab a picture at work tomorrow. He doesn't have a spacer in rear

Here's mine at 1.4. I'm considering adding a spacer or new coils to get an inch or so rake back.

If you install the complete Bilstein kit front and back, is the rear adjustable, or is it just at one setting? I'm trying to figure out how much increase the rear will go up with the install to make a choice on the front setting.

Rears are just shocks, no height adjustment. That's why people use spacers. I read here on forum that Bilstein rears allow for a 1" spacer.

Could also do different springs to get the height up an inch or 2. Bilsteins in my rear raised it
1/2 inch after all aligned

Check my post on the Bilstein pics thread. I raised mine just the 1.4 because I don't want to be tempted to replace wheels/tires, etc. I did it for the leveling and improved ride of the Bilsteins. I'm happy with it.

My truck with bils set at 2.1 and stock sized cooper discover ATPs. Rides better than stock in my opinion, I am not a fan of the bouncy ride the factory suspension has. I also change my UCAs to the ones from Zone.

Couple of questions for the pros here. Does anyone know if they changed anything on the 2017 because I can't find any info for the bilsteins for mine. Also is an alignment needed after leveling with these
