Anyone do this? I realize they are 2 different part numbers from front to back. This is all the lift I plan to do. It's for a 2014 sport CC 4x4. Seems better than using spacers.

The rear bilstein shock "allows" for an extra inch of lift to the rear. It won't "give" you an extra inch. Just a heads up!

Correct, you can get the added lift out of the front with the bilstiens, but the rears just "allow" more lift. You still need spacers in the rear.

Don't be afraid of using spacers.
Many guys (including myself) run them with no problems at all.

Agree with this. I would say it gives a 'sporty' type of ride. Definitely improves handling, but gives you more 'feel' of road imperfections.

Yup, got a steel spacer from TGC, no issues so far.

Running 5100's at 2.8" with 1.75" rear coil spacers right now. Does stiffen up the ride but I like it that way. I didn't put Bilsteins in the rear though.

There's some before and afters in my build thread. See signature below if you want to see more pics. :)

Have the same setup like cruisers... feels good because I didn't like the stock shocks...felt a little "bouncy". But my truck did develop some minor "squeaking" might be a bushing issue but I'm not experiencing any type of suspension issue. I just might wait until spring and me any my buddy will take a look at it at his shop.

I'm impresses with the bilstein shocks front and back.

Looks sick man. That's exactly what I'm going for. Definitely made my decision easy. Appreciate it! :)

I will say that the 5100's do settle a bit. I don't have measurements, but with the 1.75" rear spacers, I definitely have rake. I personally like rake and even lifted will probably keep some. I just had to get her nose out of the dirt. Can't understand why a truck's nose would be so low.

It's all for MPG's. All you hear on truck commercials is how good the MPG's are. Which for some I guess is priority but when you buy a truck it isn't meant to get Prius numbers.

I like the fact it has some rake. I am a residential home builder so I quite often have something in the back of my truck or am pulling my covered trailer or dump trailer. As much as I don't like my front end kissing the ground I don't want it pointing to the sky either. Haha

If you haul a lot and don't want to be nose high, might think about the air assist for the rear. I heard it's not expensive and does great at keepin' her from squatting.

That's not a bad idea. I remember looking around here and seeing a guy that had that with a 6" lift I believe. I think it was a TRX or outdoorsman can't remember the guys name though. I'll have to search around. Thanks man.

Could you send me a picture of this truck of you still have it. Sounds like something I might want to do with mine. Thanks!
