Hi, I am new to the forum and am planning to get a lift on my 2012 Ram CC 4x4. I am still in my deciding phase of lifting my 4x4.. was thinking 4" and not sure of a 6" lift.. I think the RC brand it the one I want. I am concerned about vibration in the 6"... I also noticed some comments on whell spacers to bring your tires out a bit from the wells.. My question on this is, am I able to do this to mine even though it is not lifted yet? My tires are not as wide but they are taller than factory.. as originally they were 17" and I upgraded rims and wheels to 18" , taller and wider. I would like them to sit outside the wheel well more and have an aggressive look.. What 1.5" spacers can i get and would i have to get an alignment after? Thanks for any input.

Go 6" and call it a day, you wont regret it.

I wont comment on stock height and spacers because I'm not too sure how many people have done this. You need to find hub centric and wheel centric spacers. No need for an alignment after installing wheel spacers.

But if you are interested in 1.5" spacers I have some for sale. They are custom made hub centric and wheel centric, never been used.

The lift all depends on what you are using the truck for? Appearance or actual off-road use? Or both? I only have a 4" CST Spindle lift but I added fiberglass fenders to run 37" tires. With the spindle lift your ride is unchanged. I ran 1.5" wheel spacers with the 4" lift and stock tires with no clearance issues, but my Ram is a 2wd and your 4wd may have a little different geometry.

6" Rough Country
315/70 17 Duratrac =34.4x12.7

Are you using stock rims? If so then you need a 1/4" wheel spacer. If not, anything from a 0 offset into negatives you will be fine. Mine are -12 offset.

Just saw that you bought 18" wheels. Hope they work for you. Not a fan of wheel spacers, but it's whatever you like.

I'm running 1.5 hub centric spacers with factory 20's. Go with 6" for sure. I just put on a rough country 6" lift with no issues and love it. I wouldn't have been happy with the 4"

If you're going through the trouble of a lift which you're gonna need to drop the front diff anyways you might as well go 6"
Not a fan of spacers that large. Biggest I've ran is 1/4. You should have bought the proper offset when you bought your new rims.

Ok. that's pretty close to stock size. Not sure if adding 1.5" spacers will cause rubbing, might be a trial and error thing to find out unless someone chimes in.

Best thing would've been to buy wheels that stick out father to begin with...
