I would go with your original thought of a aftermarket coil over -
That kit has spacers in it - I'm not a fan of spacers, any time I have personally seen a spacer on a coil over it never looks good " For the parts/ Ball joints/Cv angles and such..I got nothing against Rough country- so just have a personal opinion of spacers are ****-Just my thoughts. This kit comes with a upper control arm and spacers. I think the Rancho Coil over would be a better option than this kit- With the Bilsteens and fox rounding out the higher end equivalent. Some one with a 1/2 ton will chime in-

If it's gonna be a pavement princess and never get worked off road than this kit may serve you well.

Saw this same kit and was wondering about it as well. Any input from anyone who has used it?

I would recommend the Bilsteins 5100; I have mine set at 2.8". They ride really well and handle much better than factory.

Any issues with your CV's? Worried about the vibration issues in 4wd?

I have had no issues. Many folks on this forum run Bilsteins 5100. When I first bought my truck, this is what was recommended by many members. I couldn't be happier!

I have the bolsters at 2.1 up front and .75 spacer in the rear on my 2013. I absolutely love it. No vibrations in 2wd or 4wd.

I have searched for this on 3 different forums. I can't find anyone with photos/review. It seems to have good bang for the buck.

I like the stance of your truck. I was looking at the Rough Country set up as well but you guys have talked me into the Bilstein's. Did you do anything in the rear or is it stock? Thanks!

There is someone here who has this 3 inch rcx kit. Dont remember his name. He has a white truck. I believe he was happy with it and has had no issues.

There was a couple page thread about it.

I just installed this kit this past weekend on a 2012 Ram. Today came home from work and was looking it over, and saw that there is like oil and grease everywhere. It looks as if it took out the boots on the cv joint due to rubbing. Waiting to hear back from them.

I have had 5100s on many settings on a few Rams. I recommend Eibach or at least Eibach springs on 5100s with rear spacer or Eibach rear spring . Better ride no exaggerated rebound like 5100s w/OE springs.
