OK so can someone explain to me how I am going to get 1 " of lift out of this coil spacer, when the spacer portion is only 1/2 of an inch? Is there some sort of magic at play here or do I need to contact TGC, did they send me the wrong thing?

the single stack is the .75 spacer and the double stack is the 1" spacer, straight from their website

That's one f'ed up tape measure... to me it looks like it says 1/2". Here's a link to someone's thread that was selling 3/4" spacers and they look a little thinner plate wise compared to yours.

Yeah I originally thought it was 1/4 inch, which another guy said his 3/4 spacer measured that, then I measured down the tape and it's actually 1/2 inch. So the only thing I can think of is the other 1/2 inch comes from it sitting in the housing, whereas the coil sits around the mount instead of going into the mount, the 1 and 1/2 in the diy, measures 1 inch, so this is all I can think of

You gotta keep that rubber stopper in place and press the TGC spacer inside. Yes, the 1 inch spacer measures only 1/2 inch because it does sit perched just under the stock mounting location rather having that rubber isolator sit around it. I believe the perch lip measures 1/2 inch (or damn close to it)

As weird as it was my TGC 3/4" spacer didn't measure 3/4" it once installed I got the lift I needed, no more no less. I do believe, as mentioned above, it's the offset of the spring isolator in combination with the spacer that gives the full lift.
