I'm also going to go against the grain. I had stock 20's, and I went down to 18's. I like a beefier looking tire.

I agree with the 18's.....besides the look, the ride difference is very noticeable. I have a 2500 that rides rough and going to 20's would make it worse.

I used to have an older escalade with 18's and traded it for a newer model with 20's...was really disappointed.

Damn brother this completely solidifies my choice to roll with 18s. I can respect everyone's taste in style but I don't like the big wheels. I don't want to worry about road rash. I like being able to drive over bumps, rocks and curbs without worrying about my pretty big ass wheels.

Man that looks perfect! I've always been a fan of 18s on 35s a bit more compared to 20s, and 20s on 37s look awesome if you bump up to that setup! Agree with others I've always been a fan of the meatier tire with smaller deep rim, but guess that might just be the old school look we were use to back in the 80s/90s!

For 35s i think 18 is the biggest wheel you can run if you still use a truck offroad. I like the look of a meety sidewall as well as having some fender clearance. I have 35/18s with a 6" and 2.1 bils. I love the look. Actually looking into 36s and a 1.5 body lift now.
