Newbie and Owner of a new 2012 Ram Sport. Was wondering if anyone has had any success finding a good license plate bracket, including backing plate for the front bumper. Looking for something that will keep the plate straight....

sorry i can't help you. I live in a state that does not require a front license plate. I'm with 0212353 on this one....really sucks having to put holes in a nice sport bumper like that.

Don't drill that **** man! Get some thick 3m tape an stick it on. Won't come off, and you don't have to drill your bumpers!

i agree. check with dodge and see if they make a bracket. They don't have one for the chrome bumper. Just 2 plastic pem nuts in the bumper.

agree with you all about the screwing up the bumper but am afraid I am to late, when I went around to pickup my nice new truck the dealer had already drilled it and screwed my plate to it.
...so now I am just trying to find something that will make it look like it belongs there...

My dealer had drilled into my bumper before I purchased it so there are options. I went with weathertech frame cover and bracket. It sits pretty and looks like it belongs there.

any chance of a closer pic of the weathertech frame or behind it?
plates are coming in and the dealer went ahead a drilled in the body just to put the dealership bs plate on the front

Sorry it took a bit I was at my shop de-badging it took a bit longer then thought.
Here is a close up of the front head on.
And from the top between the light bar and bumper. It's hard to see but there is a piece of 3m tape between the bumper and the bracket to protect the paint.
