Ok fellas maybe someone can give me some insight....below is a picture of some custom lights using rigid dot pods . They were wired into the factory harness for the quad lamps my truck came with 58e1ff856d020ee88841b51ed3c1f8b5.jpg

I hooked them.up to the truck and they worked fine when the truck is off. Meaning when I unlock. Truck the headlights turn on and when I turn on headlights via the knob when truck is off they also work.....

However once the truck turns on they flicker and turn off and intermittenly flicker and then stop working all together ..... So I ordered some cheap canbus resistors as pictured 6fc30dded403496cc126a05d1e216165.jpg

They seemed to work well for about a day or two ... Here and there they'd shut off but would go back one immediately after so I was ok with that... But then last night they shut off completely and won't work....

The plug that come from my truck into the headlight harness is an h13 style plug ... So that's what I need to make em plug and play with whatever resistors/capacitors I need. It's just finding the right combo I'm guessing... Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated!!!! Below is a photo and specs on the specific pod being used for low beam . 5221cac0dbe26b7703348fc0bc000a26.jpg62c84f72c5e0faf396e9b22c478c0f3e.jpg

So from what I have seen the 15 RAMs were extremely finicky for lighting. Most places I have seen have ‘15 specific adaptor harnesses.
From my understanding it’s a combination of resistors and diodes and capacitors.
Give Jeremy at retro shop a shout and also look at his website.

Forgot to mention that I love the idea of the DOT/SAE lights. I will be watching this thread for out out shots once you get them working properly.

Thanks for the reply I️ have spoke with Jeremy today and he pointed me in the direction of a harness of resistors of some sort but no guarantees. Worth a shot I’ll update post for sure !!

I just bought some Supernova V.3 LED's for my 2015 2500. They worked great for about 30 seconds, then flicker and eventually turn off. Contacted Supernova, they said that the 2015 is indeed very sensitive to any changes. They said the only quality module they have found is the Diode Dynamics PWM module, available for $30. I just ordered one this weekend and should have it by midweek. I'm hoping that solves my problem.

I've done some research and everyone says that cheap canbus adaptors work briefly, then stop working. Apparently the 2015 does an initial check, then does checks at set times thereafter. Cheap adaptors will work for the initial check, but can't handle the additional checks.
