So, I was driving into work this cold morning and noticed that one of my defroster lines aren’t working. The only way to fix this is to replace the entire back window? If yes, does anyone know how involved that is? I have trust issues with my dealership based on the hack job they did on replacing my instrument cluster a couple months back.

if you can find a break in the defroster line, they sell a repair kit at auto parts stores so you can fix it yourself. a good glass repair shop should also be able to take care of this as well.

You don't. It's only available on Big Horn or higher and even then it's an option on everything below Limited, where it's standard.

interesting...I thought the lines were within the glass? If they can fix it without needing to replace it, then that better to me.

So what do you guys think this stuff is on the inside of my back window?? This is were my one defroster line stopped working. It's very hard and takes a lot of effort to scrape it off with my nail. Is my window melting?....corrosion???

....no idea why the pics are sideways, but can still see what I'm talking about

x2, I read another thread on here about a guy that had his rear window shatter due to a defective rear defroster. You don't want to be like that guy!!!
