i used this weather proof flexible led strip wired to a switch in the dash. my only concern is how well the adhesive will hold up, couple hours of labor cutting tolength and soldering, but works well.

I was told to clean the area your gonna stick to..dry it..reclean with alcohol(not beer,*** ect)let dry,reclean again with alcohol and as its drying apply the sticky tape..I was told it helps activate the glue for a better stick..True or not i dont know but a led light guy told me that hint..

i use brake clean and a cotton towel multiple times.
