So, after months of no modding, I've caught the bug yet again.

Thinking simple, thinking quick install.

With that in mind, I keep going back and forth on a bull bar.

Some days, I like them, especially on a lifted truck. But some days, they simply remind me of someone sticking their tongue out and touching their nose.

I also live in the peoples republik of NJ, so we need to display our front plates.

Thoughts? Have a bull bar? Mind posting some pics?

I don't particularly care for them.

Some applications look ok. I think they probably look best on a black ram which you could pull off.

Totally agree on the black --- prob wont happen, but we'll see.

Not my truck in this picture, but if I ever do put one on, I want it to look like this. The wider bar makes it look awesome bc1114954b7c4bfd7472aae1a5ff3ba0.jpg

I definitely like the wider look better. I know its probably just the angle of the pic but it looks off center

Yea, the wide does look nice. I'd love to see a side shot of that bar. Look pretty good.

That's Drummin4jc's truck. Here is his build thread. Bull bar is on page 12. I've been looking at the bull bar too but I have front sensors so that would be a pain.

You can also see a side shot on page 17.

Do you "need" a bullbar because you may hit a elk, deer, wildbore?
if so get a real sturdy one as a el cheapo bull bar will make the damage worst if you should hit something.
I saw some real damage by cheap chines bull bars as they got smashed in the grille, bonnet.
As a bull bar is in front of the (energy absorbing) bumper in case of hitting a low animal or wall the the damage will be greater than just bending the bumper.
Also, if you should hit a person with a bull bar the damage will be much greater ...

Bullbar!!

Not as aggressive as others out there or wide, but it looks pretty darn good I think. Also this one is Dee Zee model. Be aware that this has very little reinforcement to the front. Mainly cosmetic

Keep in mind, if you have the front park sensors, you will have to disable them, or remove them. The bull bar will have them constantly going off.
