Got my Tow Hooks and Bezels Today

Place Holder...

I have a 2017 Laramie that did not have them. For some weird reason I like the way they look on these trucks so I bought a set. I will try and post up the install and difficulty.

Took about ~30 minutes including putting the truck on my RV ramps and cleaning up all the tools.

10mm and 18mm sockets.

The bezels took the longest because I was too lazy to get out from under the truck and get the electric screwdriver. It is 4 (each side) of those clip on nuts.

The hooks them selves were ultra easy. Remove 2 nuts from truck. Put the hook into place (it even has a guide stud). retighten 2 nuts and 1 provided bolt

Nice, looks good. I like the look too. I'd love to put some on my sport. How much do they stick out in front of the bumper?I have about an inch of clearance to fit my truck in the garage due to my workbench, so if the hooks stick out too much, it's a no go for me lol.

when i bought mine they cost me 130.00 for hooks and bezels

I paid 130 for the hooks and 20 for the bezels

I do not think they work on a Sport because of the molded one piece bumper, but on a Larry they stick out close to an inch. Because the front is curved its hard to tell total but if you have 1" to spare and are pulling up that close I would not get them

I was going to put them on my limited, but I would have had to cut the openings out. Just never got around to it but it looks great.

I think it's doable with the sport, just have to cut into the plasti. Thanks for the clearance info, I'll hold off.

They will fit a Sport or Express as well.

There are lots of sport truck guys who have done this mod, you just have to cut out the plastic trim panel

Doesn't the limited have the chrome bumper? You do not need to cut anything... just get the new already cut bezels... like I did.

Sorry for the SPORT post... I realize you can put them on the Sport but not Factory style.

Ok... here you go

On a Laramie chrome bumper...

Remove the block out plastic bumper covers for this, They are the factory covers for the hooks.

Then add the hooks

Again I get that... All I am saying is you cannot just factory bolt them on. Like on the higher trims. You physically have to modify the vehicle. Why Ram does not sell a bezel for the Express/Sport is beyond me but you have to cut.
