hey guys. finally getting my truck together. got wheels and tires, level with bilstein 5100 and flares done. now working on lighting. I have diode dynamic xml2 led 5000k pure white fog bulbs. now trying to decide on an hid kit. either the diode dynamic 5000k kit for the retrofit source elite kit. ones a little cheaper. I was just wonder which brand everyone is using and who's had the best luck with what brand. the dd would match best to my fogs but idk which ones are built better

thanks

The Retrofit Shop.

JJ was the only guy who managed to sort through the issues and get my 2007 equipped with HIDs that actually worked.

Now he's done the same thing for my 2017.

I have the diode dynamic 6000k HID kit with their anti-flicker modules on my 2016 Rebel and they work great. I only went to them because of the anti-flicker modules...I didn't want to deal with the large wiring harness with resistors, fuses, capacitors, etc. I easily have over a 200 hrs on the kit without any issues at all.

His 14 is cake ;)

pedroghne - we stock both kits here at RetroShop. I have the TRS ones listed on my website ($150 for your kit), and we can do the DD one at the same cost as well. Slight differences - ballasts - Hylux vs Morimoto, and the antiflicker - TRS vs DD. Both work great, and we can set you up with either.

Shoot me an email with any questions - [email protected] - THX!

Not the one we list, it comes with the canbus adapters (for the 09-14 models)

I'll second the DDM CANBUS kits. Although I've only had my two sets installed for a couple weeks, I've had no problems!
