my hood has bad hail damage and im looking to replace it. So far the only options ive seen are the two stock hoods and an after market ram air scoop hood. Im not a big fan of the after market one. what i would like is a larger cowl hood.

kinda like this one:



so like my stock hood, just more aggressive.

anyone know of a company that makes them or one i could talk to about making one?

i have to replace the entire hood any way so the universal scoop is out of the question.

its an option for sure.

although that hood is twice as expensive as the one i have on now plus id have to have it painted.

Yea it's definitely expensive...on my window sticker it is listed as an almost $800 option

thanks!

luckily working at a dealership i get list price on parts

if i got the stock hood i have now and had it painted it would be about 600 bucks. the R/T or Sport style hood would be about 1000 bucks. with the 400 difference i could put it towards painting my bumpers black, air intake, headers, drop kit (or paying off debt like i should) haha

not sure its worth that 400 bucks is all. also for 1000 bucks i figured id be able to get a sweet after market hood (if one could be found)

see if i could get that without the ram air (no opening) its the right height and everything i was looking for.

although id like to see other pictures of that one too. seems like it could be pretty sweet

but i cant afford a 1600 dollar hood
