Recently while acting like a dummy and messing around in an abandoned parking lot I ran into a cement barrier. (Believe me it was stupid and I'm pissed!) all that aside, looking for the best way to protect the damage from the Canadian (Ontario) elements this winter until I can properly fix it this spring.

Can I plasti dip the entire lower panels of my truck to give the faux outdoorsman look? After a good wash and thorough coating (x7-10) would this protect my body? Would it accelerate the rust? I have damage through paint to metal. A few pics below..

Thanks for any help y'all can provide and Merry Christmas [emoji319]!

A pic below of what I'd do with plastidip..

Definitely can.

It will cover the rust and should not accelerate it at all. If anything it will slow the process. Just make sure to put like 5+ coats.

Sure but I would use some kind of sealer first even if you hit it with masking tape just on the bare metal and hit it with a few light coats of primer/sealer and then plastidip.
