I'm curious about these also. I had to read the ebay listing several times because it seemed to cheap for 2 headlights. They look good from the pics though and the price is hard to beat.

i have the ones with white LEDs in them and an all black housing...

and with HIDs the visibility is very good, comparable to the MH1 and yes wont be as good as the FXR, but these are nothing to complain about

but in less than 24 hours im already having problems with the LEDs in the passenger side headlight

so honestly id say keep your money and dont buy them, not while they are still new

Good looking headlamps however compared to my 2014 FX4 HID projectors they don’t throw much light,I love my new Power Wagon but miss the HIDs on the Ford.

Throw some HID's in your OEM projector headlights. Did it in my PW and it made a good difference. I used the TRS/Morimoto kit we offer along with the XB LED fog light assemblies. I love the setup!

what problems?

the some of the LEDs started to flicker in the parking lights, so im not very happy with that aspect of them, but otherwise they are nice, good fit, clean look and great visibility, just the whole LEDs screwing up is kind of killing it

Good candidate for a retrofit fit some better projectors and some better leds in there and avoid having to deal with the permaseal mess when doing the same with tyc or oem headlights

now there is alot of truth in that statement, honestly a retrofit isnt needed with these, the projector has very good output, nothing to complain about there, but replacing the board with switchbacks or RGB boards would be a definite improvement

Ordered, and ordered a set of RetroShop’s Quad to Projector housing adapters.

When I get them, and have them installed will report back. But, I plan on going in 2 stages, 1) Install with halogen bulbs that come with it then 2) add RetroShop’s HID kit.

nice, yeah let me know. Im thinking that these would be a cheaper alternative to tyc if i want the switchbacks changed anyway.

Just so everyone knows, the clear corners that you can order for this style of headlight, WILL NOT WORK IN THESE, these have made up their own mounts and they dont share any mounting points with OEM nor TYC replacement parts...

i have 2 sets of these and have already taken one apart to inspect it

i didnt have one to try and fit in there, the wiring part is pretty much compatible in anything, but im not sure if they will fit the same in place of the turn signals that is in these, that you will be taking the risk on, my plan was to remove the amber corner and replace it with a smoked clear one, and once i removed the amber one in these i noticed real quick that it wasnt the same, so i had to do a bit of custom modifying to make it stick and its not even a great fit at that...

Good point but certain things I just can't leave alone! Melted one of my tyc headlights trying to get the permaseal to loosen so might just buy a set of these to retro

I have everything it, but will have to wait until Saturday to do the install. By the time I get home from work it is dark (Oh the joys of winter).

So far, I have done the following: (Thanks for all the PM help Demon-HeMi)

Received RetroShop H7 6000k 35 HIDs
Received RetroShop Quad to Projector Adapter Harness
Received DT Moto prjector housings

First, I drilled 7/8" holes in the back of the light housing adapters using a step drill bit (Harbor freight). I then used grey RTV to make a true weather seal around the wiring. You will note that these HID bulbs are separate from the wiring (The cover on the right, the two wire connector attaches to the back of the HID bulb the other two male connectors attach to the low beam connector):

Arix3VU.jpg

Here are the light housings waiting to be installed. I already installed the HID bulbs, put dielectric grease for ease of future connector removal, and put the covers back on. Here they sit with the manufacturers scratch protecting covers:

Next step on Saturday is to remove the factory Quads, install the HID Can bus wiring harness, then install these.
