Just got my 2024 ram 1500 with the factory LED reflector headlights. These things are killing me coming from a 2018 with FXR projectors and 50w HIDs. Looking at options that offer significant low beam performance increase. From what I see not many integrate with the factory LED.

1. Vlands (cheapest $500 for the pair not sure about quality and beam output)
2. Form lighting ($1000, nice cutoff but beam looks not as wide as stock LED)
3. Morimoto XB ($1,500 nice cutouff, good beam and bright in lowbeam but high beam doesn't look fantastic)
4. Alpharex? (not sure they offer one yet)

I've tried googling reviews but no one really does any good comparisons. I'm looking for similar readings provided by headlight revolution etc. I would love to see width comparison, Lux readings etc.

Anyone have any experience with any of these or can offer any pros/cons to any? Clearly the morimoto XB seems like the best option but also the most $$. If I could honestly do a HID projector swap in a LED housing I would.

I have no experience but curious to see what gets suggested. Can you throw up some pictures of the light output at night? I figured those lights would be awesome, had I bought a 5th gen, those lights were a must.

There are two versions of the LED headlights on the Ram or 3 total headlight versions available for all models. The BASE is halogen and total poop. The next step up is LED reflector which is a premium option on big horns and standard on Laramie's I think, then the Rebels and Limited's get the LED projector headlights which I hear are much better but they aren't a simple swap. You have to change whole harnesses and add modules etc.

They aren't terrible but not nearly as good as my FXRs.

I'm attaching some outputs I was able to put together of the Morimoto XB and Hybrids as well as the Form Lighting. Apparently Form Lighting is comparing the factory LED reflector to the form headlight so these are what I assume mine looks like. I will take some pics to confirm.

Not the best test but First pic is OE reflector LED headlights and house is 23ft away. Second pic is two 3” Lasfit driving pattern LED pods I had laying around to assist in the distance of the low beam. Last pic is with the headlight and pods on. I was getting 1108 lux with the headlights and 1050 lux with the pods. Basically doubling the brightness. Hopefully get some Street time on it tmrw night.
