rear bumper - out of whack

heyas, I was in a parking garage backing into a spot, something caught my eye and then I hit the wall, not very hard, but hard enuff to put my bumper out of whack and its not straight.... one of my tailpipes sticks out while the other is still tucked in.

sooo...just wondering how to re-align my rear bumper? if anyone has any ideas which bolts i'd need to lossen up or something would be helpful.

thought about wrapping a tow strap around the bumper to a tree and giving it a slight pull....heh

thanx!

Chock the wheels. For starts, I would use a ratchet strap (not the little 1" kind..shoot for 10k lbs) .. around a (strong) tree/pole/etc . Then loop it around the end of the bumper you want to pull out.

Use the ratcheting device instead of the truck. Little at a time, release, see where its at, repeat. Be sure to drink plenty of beer during the process... if it's chrome, there's a possibility of cracking it.

Bumper looks fine to me. Not bent, no dings. Not even a scratch.
I assume it's just the bracket that got bent.
I would remove the bumper and straighten out the brackets.
If you remount it, there should be enough play in it to get it realigned properly.
