Recommended tire and rim size

I just leveled my 2017 ram 1500. It looks great but I would like to start look around at rims and tires. Except I apparently didn't realize I know absolutely nothing about this, and there are so many options .

Can anybody share what they have on theirs, including if they had to make any trimming or additional adjustments when they went up in tire size. I wanted thicker tires and I'm sticking with matte black. That's all I've made up my mind on so far.

Check out the gallery section of customwheeloffset.com. This helped me decide on the size wheels I wanted.

Definitely check out customwheeloffset.com and filter the gallery view. That website helped me make my decision the most and they're good about answering questions if you hit them up.

As for what I got (from them actually), it's in my sig. No trimming, no rubbing.

Customwheeloffset is a great place to look. I spent countless hours on there.

My wheels are 20x10 -12mm offset with 295/60/20 Toyo mt's. My bilsteins are set at 2.1 and I only get slight rubbing at full lock left. (Not enough to require any trimming)

20x10 -18 offset with 305/55/20 toyo rt tires. Bils @2.8 only a slight slight rub at full lock left in reverse

17x8.5 0 offset Method NV matte black
285/75r17 Toyo AT2 extremes (~34x11.50)
Bils @ 2.1. Zero rubbing, no trimming required

Bilsteins set at 2.8 with a 1.5" rear spacer. On 315/70/17s. No rubbing at all.

Fuel boost. Nitto grapplers G2s 305/65/18 zero offset. 1.5" front spacer. No rub
