So you're saying instead of $120 bulbs, get 700 headlights, then some HID's to fit em with? If only I had the extra 800 dollars...

sure but you don't have to spend that much for retros. I didn't and won't. If I went a different route I would have spent even less than I did.

Spend what you want your money. I learned before I made a mistake.

You don't need 7-800 to get a set of lights. Do some sets go that high? Sure, with some paint, new headlight housings, 55W sets, matching fogs, etc - it all adds up!

In the end, I think Matt was saying that spending $120 for bulbs is not the best bang for your buck. Sure, the buck will be higher to get a full retrofitted set, but in the end the light output will flat out blow away any halogen setup.

I have these in my high beams. I have JJ's HID projectors in the lows. I personally prefer a mix of both since you can't flash your high beams during the day at someone with ALL HIDs (they have to warm up first).

My opinion on them is this: They are definitely brighter and whiter than stock. I've only had them in for a month or so now, so I am still on the fence as to how long they will last, and how long the color will hold.

I thought hid install is a pain. Can u tell me which to order? For headlights and fogs?

Its not bad, install instructions here - http://www.ramforum.com/f96/4th-gen-ram-hid-harness-install-pics-how-8035/

Fogs are easy, plug n play.

On which ones to use? Depends on what you are looking for. My supplier, and who I resell from - there are 4 different kits. :005:

Economy - (not available for H10 fogs) - cheapest setup. 1yr warranty - only available in 6 or 8K. Great entry kit!
Nightvision - Heads/Fogs - 4300, 6 or 8K. Lifetime warranty.
Digital Kits - Heads/Fogs - 4300, 5, 6, or 8K. 35/55W kits available. Lifetime warranty. These are the top dog, best light output. 55W will give you 30-40% more than the 35W kits.

Check out Retro-Solutions Store to view all. Don't forget to use coupon code "JJ" to get 10% off of eligible kits! (economy not eligible).

55w, 35w, or adjustable? And whats price. I wanna purchase them tomorrow

I have never sold the adjustables. Nifty idea, but......I'll just stick to 35/55. :005:

Here's my recommendation - in a stock housing, 35W. Projectors, 55W.
