Wanting to get rid of the chrome mirrors on my truck plus get rid of the ugly black covers I have on them, figured I might as well get some tow mirrors. I was looking around online and stumbled across these on ebay: 2009-2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Power Heat Flip Up Tow Mirrors+LED Turn Signal Lights | eBay Has anyone had any experience with these?
Those look about like what I got. I ordered mine from Amazon, ECCPP brand. Good quality and well packaged. Happy with quality compared to the OEM take offs.

The only negative on mine so far is the wiring behind the mirror becomes visible at times depending on how I have the mirrors angled. Not a huge deal but it's a detail thing. Those wires should've been wrapped or taped during production.

I have Laramie trim and all functions worked perfectly.

I honestly think the tow mirrors look better size wise on the 1500s, changes up the look for the better.

Mind shooting me a link to the ones you bought? Thank you in advance!

Edit: Would these be them? https://www.amazon.com/ECCPP-Heated...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DYYSJP9RGEVY6J2D55NN

Yep, those are the ones. One thing you'll read in the comments is the length of the studs on the mirrors. The frontmost stud needs to have about 1/4" trimmed off of it so it doesn't make contact with the body when closing the door. Dremel, hack saw, whatever takes the end off quickly.

Any vibration or anything?
Funny you should ask....Wind blowing like crazy here right now and just got off the highway. They are very stable....mostly no vibration. I haven't noticed any since installing them. They feel very sturdy, well packaged, good product. My only gripe I mentioned above is the wiring in the housings. It should've been taped or put in a loom, etc. Not enough to really bother me though.

The ones that Rzrman posted are a good set, derekp put a set for the 3rd gen on his truck and says they're pretty good. I would stay away from the power fold away, derekp got a set after I turned him on to them and then he said the motor to fold them in and out failed within a week.
