Started BigDogg's wheel and tire fund this week and plan on having enough to pick up a new set of shoes by the time it warms up again in NY...I think I'm going to downsize to 17's but keep the 33" rubber...looking at a 285/70/17. My question is; I really like the Blackrock Yuma's and want to make sure all is alright with the back spacing and what not. I'm not 100% on the difference between the offset and backspacing relationship but from what I've come to understand 4.5 BS with a 0 offset should work as long as I don't get too crazy.
I'm stock suspension, no level, nothing and I don't think I want to go to a larger tire either (I'm doing highway miles, there's really no place to go mudding in Suffolk County to my knowledge lol).
So, will I be safe with a 4.5 BS, 0 offset with a 285/70/17? Thanks in advance boys and girls, I appreciate the advice!
