Hey guys I was looking at doing 20x10 w -18 offset wheels on 35x12.50x20 toyo open country mt tires. I'd run some bilsteins in the front as well. How much rubbing do you think would happen? I've heard some people do that set up and the have to trim the inner fender plastic a hair. Just wanted others thoughts or info from someone that has a set up like this??

Don't quote me but on a level I'm not sure you'd have any rub. I only run 33s. And I don't rub on my 20x10. I didn't even rub at stock height.

Yeah I was thinking about 33s but idk if it'll look a little off or if the 35s would look better. I know 33s would give me zero problems for sure

You would definitely want to set the bilsteins at 2.8 and you would most likely still have some rubbing like you said to run 35x12.5's

Yeah so I should probably just play it safe and run 33s. Thanks!

As quietpeen said, you'd want to set the Bilsteins to 2.8" and even at that, you'd be trimming. It's very do-able though. If you wanted to go to a slightly shorter tire you could run a 295/60/20 which is approximately 34" tall. That way you're in the middle ground between a 33 and a 35. Still fills up the wheel well nicely but won't give you the issues with rubbing.

I run a 20x10 fuel wheel -18 off set with a 305-55-20 Mickey Thompson atz p3 tire. I've got from leveled only. No rubbing at all. They stick out at least 2 inch and throw mud up side of rig constantly:..but no rubbing lol

This red Ram was at my local dealer's awhile back. It has 35's with a 2.5" Levelling kit & doesn't look stuffed at all.

That's awesome to know lol cause I'm doing 20x10 w -18 and 305/55/20 toyo open country RT tires so that's awesome that it doesn't rub. And yeah throwing stuff up I figured but I want that aggressive but not overkill look. Around Easter I'll throw the truck up on here when I do my level, wheels and steps!

The flares make it look good, I'm staying away from flares because the head on look of them I'm not the biggest fan because they don't go the whole wheel well or go flush to the side...they look good just not my style

I just put new wheels and tires on my truck. 20x10 -12 mm offset with 295/60/20(34" tall) Toyo M/t's and I only get very little rubbing at full lock left in reverse and I have my bilsteins set at 2.1

Now knowing how my setup fits If you did bilsteins at 2.8 you could run 35's and would have some slight rubbing most likely but would have the stuff look. Also if you are not going to run flares you maybe would want to look into -12 mm offset unless you are looking for the look of they sticking out pretty far

Yeah I was thinking if anything, getting some oem flares and painting them color matched. The wheels I am doing i was told by a few people that it won't rub. Does it rub at the top corner?

What wheels and tires are you looking at again? No I don't have any rubbing at a top corner. My only slight rubbing is on the drivers side inner fender liner at full lock in reverse near the bottom

I got a set of 20x10 fuel assaults w -18 and toyo open county R/t 305/55/20 it's 33.2 tall so basically stock but 12 inches wide. Nothing is on the truck yet because the wheels are on the way and I'm gonna wait till Easter time so the salt and other junk is off the road

Are you leveling the front at all? Asking because my old setup. 20x10 -24 mm offset with worn 33x12.5x20 Toyo m/t's rubbed at full lock in forward and reverse before the bilsteins.
