2012 express evic cluster swap

Anyone know if its possible to plug n play a 2012 evic cluster into my express. I know I'd need the buttons on steering wheel on left side of wheel. Other than that is it just a swap? Fully functional?

2012 has the new style buttons on the wheel

I remember reading a thread on here a while back that the cluster was a direct swap. Your truck doesn't have the 4 buttons on the left side?

It is a direct swap... i have a 2012 express. Get the new switch for the steering wheel & the tire pressure module that goes in LF wheel well on frame rail toward the front. Easy!!! even taking the airbag off is simple. just make sure you disconnect battery.

I thought 2013+ for 1500's was the new style cluster? Did not think a 2012 would work with a 2014 truck?

Might want to update your profile then from 2014 to 2012 so people do not confuse your question when asking about year specific things.
