I am wondering if the pedal commander is worth is with the 8speed/392 combo.

Am I the odd ball that does not find my truck to be very laggy when it comes to the gas pedal?

I have been reading up on the other pedal commander threads and it really makes me wonder just how much response can the 8speed/392 combo use before it makes it hard to drive with out ripping tire everywhere?

**Basically is it worth it for the 8speed/392 combo if you don't feel the stock pedal is all that laggy?

If you think it is good now, wait till you feel the difference. I also have the 8 speed and the 3.92's but I also had a custom tune, and it still made one hell of a difference above and beyond the tune. You don't need a PC to tear the tires off---you just need a little restraint or have a big check book for tires. Try it you'll like it!!!!

I have the 3.92's and the 8 Speed in my 2017 Rebel.

The pedal commander made an extremely noticable difference. The nice thing is that its so easy to install AND its customizable. Pedal too touchy? Turn it down. Not enough? Turn it up.

Easily worth it in my opinion. Buy one...try it out. You can get them for $270 or so.

If you don't like it throw it up for sale here at $250 and you're only out $20. I'm sure someone would snatch it up.

Give it a try :)

2017 w/ 3.92 and 8 speed. Initially set it at Sport, but now I'm at City +1. Even at this setting it's way more fun than w/o the pc. Don't forget to set it to ECO when doing long hwy traveling. You'll get the mushy feeling, but can't beat the gas savings. I left it at City +2 and my mpg indicator went from 15.7 to 12ish. Did another hwy trip at ECO and I almost got 18mpg!!

My 2015 Ram has 3.92's, 8sp transmission, and custom tuning, and the Pedal Commander was a huge improvement. You wont be dissapointed.

Finally installed one and here is my take.

My preferred setting is City +2 as it takes just the right amount of lag out.

Sport = fun....just a bit to touchy.

Sport + = ********! This is way to much for me, tried it once and the snap into the seat with little pedal was crazy.

I bet you could run Sport + on a 3:21 or 3:55 truck with no issue, with 3:92 its too much.

With over 30 settings it's pretty easy to find one that suits your driving style.

A guy at work just bought. Put it all the way up on his Ram 1500 2014 with big tires.......dumped the pedal and ended up in the field. That was yesterday! Lol! Saw him today and he said PC is crazy fast.
