I was holding back on sharing this for when I share all the new stuff I'm getting, but why not give a little teaser :naughty:

I had gotten an AEV raised snorkel quite awhile back but never put it on.

Here are some pics! The install wasn't hard following the directions. Just tough cutting into your body panels.

Oh and if you get one of these put a screw in the ram air piece or it might fly off going down the highway...and you'll have to buy a new one.

Very cool. Not sure I could cut into my body panels... it would feel wrong. Looks like you did a very nice job though.

It was tough but once I started there was no going back hahaha just take your time and it's not too bad. I went with the mentality that at least it's a fender and can easily be replaced

I like that they reused the stock box. That's cool. Wonder if you couldn't convert over to a s&B intake box for the filter

Unfortunately I didn't have a s&b to test it with and didn't want to buy a new one to try. I could probably make it work, but more likely I could get the mopar intake to work better.

After I finish my truck I'll start going back and do **** like that, right now the stock box with a kn drop in works

True. Didn't think about the mopar intake. That would look awesome with it.
