I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 6.7 Cummins turbo want to put aftermarket air cleaner on will this affect regeneration system is this a good idea or not do not want to have any computer issues for warranty issues

Replacing the intake won't affect the regen process. Replacing the intake will little more than lighten your wallet and add a little sound when accelerating.

Just don't toss your old system, put it back if you ever have warranty work. Your mass air sensor can go off once in a while. I'm not up on deisels anymore, Turbo Diesel Register is another great place to ask anything Cummins.

The only thing you will gain is a little louder turbo , the stock air box will support up to 500hp easy enough.
