Exhaust quick fix tips

Alright so in the process of hollowing out my cats i managed to bend or dis figure the driver side end of the y pipe. Where the y pipe meets the exhaust manifold. A small leak is now where those two merge together. Do you all have any tips for the fix besides removing the y pipe all over again?

Ultra Copper works wonders on small leaks. Follow the directions to a T.

when you knocked out your cats did they bring up an engine code when you put them back in?

i went 2 days without it coming on but it finally did yes. I used my predator to disable it and it hasn't come back on since.

I remember my Dad doing this in the early 80s. I thought it was a "no-no" now?

badkelly it came on again.... :(

kkreit01 - it is a no no but its no different than when you see mustangs with off-road x-pipes driving around.
