First real "performance" mod I guess...even if it is just a muffler swap. I have my appointment for 1000 hrs and can't wait!

Now I just have to scrimp a little more and grab an intake; between the Magnaflow and an AFE, I should be able to feel a little more kick, right? Or am I just expecting too much?

Since you have a 2010 save up for a programmer you wont regret it

I agree. If you dont already have a programmer, that should be next on your list. It will show a better gain than the intake and muffler swap combined.

Ordered up a 14"...12198 I believe is the model # IIRC. I'm really excited lol, I never had an exhaust on any of my previous vehicles.


So a tuner before an intake? Interesting....this is why I ask.

You are going to be very happy with that 14" Maggy. As for the tuner, it will show better gains than an intake, and it costs about the same as an intake. I am a big fan of Superchips for any truck that doesnt have an aftermarket cam. I keep plenty of these in stock as well, so let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

I'm excited to see how you like that muffler after the install.

Yeah, like they said and tuner will be your best gain I wish they had one for the 2011 but not yet.
