I'm sure y'all getting tired of my issues...

Finally got everything lined out on my reman 5.7l. Now it runs like **** unless you give it throttle. I tested 2,4,6,8 cylinder and only 2 runs good. I tested by unplugging coil packs. Then swapped 2 in the others and 2 still runs good. So I swapped 2 injector with 4 and not change either. I installed new injectors anyways, had new plugs.

I been reading it could be a sensor. The massive hole was in 8 on my old motor I blew right above the crank sensor. The sensor visually looks fine but could that have damaged it?

Other things to diagnose?

I'd bet its the sensor. It'll throw everything else off.

Wellthat code won't come back now that I cleared it but still coming back as misfires. Replaced the crank runs same. Removed cam shaft sensor and wiped off now it runs worse and struggles to start.

How old is the reman engine? May need a crank adaptive relearn.

It's a new rebuild. It's from a 2011. I just replaced the crank and now the cam sensor. No change but runs a tad better. Now I am noticing white smoke out the back.

After it runs a sec then dies it takes a bit to start but if I stop while it's cranking then try again it fires up like it wasn't getting fuel. But the smoke is like no fire. Odd cause it's only on those 3 cylinders.
