I have a 2011 ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi, and looking for some not really expensive ways to get more power. Currently I have true dual flowmaster super 10s with 6" tips, k&n CAI. I am kind of new when it comes to more technical mods so if possible kind of spell things out so to speak lol
Thank you

a ported throttle body and a programmer would make a huge difference on your truck

Time for a tuner to go with your mods buddy. Most popular are are the SuperChips and the Trinity for your truck. Take a peek.

I like the Intune. If I spent the money again I would think about going with the 87 TB.

As mentioned, the throttle body would be your cheapest upgrade. We have our 85mm TB's at only $299.99 and the 87mm are $349.99. If you know you will be adding headers down the road, then go straight to the 87mm. If not, then the 85mm will work great for you.

As for tuners, your cheapest option is going to be the Bullydog Hemi Plus tuner. Most guys are seeing roughly 20-25hp gains with these. Next step from there would be the Diablo InTune or Trinity. If you are leaning towards Diablo, shoot a message to one of our other site sponsors (Hemifever Tuning). He can write a custom tune for you that will help you squeeze every last hp out of your motor.

Aside from this, you can also replace your clutch fan with an electric fan for less than $200, and that will free up a few hp as well.
