Alright so my halos are wired into my parking lights and while leaving work tonight, the driver's side headlight didn't want to work, except the actual headlight itself was working...but the parking light and halos on the driver's side were not. When I got home, I looked at it quickly and could see that the parking light decided to start working, but the halos still were not. I could also smell a sort of burnt plastic smell so I'm wondering if the resistor or whatever on the halos decided to go. I already replaced the one on the other side a while back because it was burnt.

So I'm not sure if it's that or somehow I blew a fuse?

It was too wet out today to get under and look so I will take a look at the inverter tomorrow. I checked my fuses and they are all good. It's weird because when I remote lock/unlock the truck, usually all the lights flash, but now it doesn't do that anymore.

I heard about this problem on some other website and that it was due to the connection of the fuse thats responsible for the driver's side tail light and parking lamp...has anyone ever heard of this too?

I was gonna take the fuse out and reinsert it to see if that is the issue.

I think I may have found it. The left tail lamp fuse looks corroded. There is a metal wire in the middle of the fuse that connects from one side to the other and at the middle it is disconnected.

Gonna go pick up a new fuse, hopefully that solves the problem..

Is there another fuse box on the inside of the truck anywhere?
