First off, let me explain what I talking about. When I do work with my truck, such as having a heavy load in the back, the underneath of the box hits the frame, right to those rubber bumpers things.leaf springs also go straight or even bowed the other way.
So I was just wondering if I need to change the shocks or leaf springs to not have it going so low like that with a heavy load,

What are the details of your truck and the weight that you're putting in it? Sounds like you have a 1500 that you're likely overloading with far too much weight.

yes, it is a 1500,'08 quad cab 4x4, even when hitting bumps or potholes just makes a solid impact, or the shock doesn't get absorbed,

I'd get new shocks for sure. And for around $300 you can do air bags in the back to help raise the end back up. But you should make sure you're not over loading it

That's why I'm saying you might be overloading it. If you have too much weight in the back and it's on the bump stops you aren't going to have any suspension travel left and all bumps are just going to be put right up into the frame. It sounds like that's exactly what's happening.
