Went out to my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 and decided to manually unlock the driver's door with my key, and it won't! WTH
I only got a single chip key when I bought it Tuesday. Should there be another key to manually unlock the door?

No, should be the same key. Sounds like either the ignition cylinder was changed or the door one was.

Yep, mine doesn't have power door locks, so I have to use the key and it's a single key.

years ago, Mopar sold a key kit, which had an assortment of keys, pins and springs, instructions and a few small tools, so that you could re-pin a lock cylinder to whatever key you wanted/had. You might check to see if they still offer such a thing to match your door locks to your ignition, or vice versa
