Been having issues with my tires balancing so I took the truck to a different shop...will not include there name

Once the truck was completed, they threw me the keys and said your good to go. Before I walked out I got a text, it was from my buddy that worked there...it said

"Check the passage side of your truck, the guy doing your tires hit the pole pulling the truck in"

Sure as ****...bed side is dented it, fender flare scrapped, and a scratch in the dent.

I'm not going to bash the shop that did it since they are taking care of all damages with no hassle. I just want to warn your guys...CHECK YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE ACCEPTING IT!!!

I have a great repair shop I go to, but the employees are human. One guy forgot to put the pressure cap back on my radiator (previous vehicle), no damage just ran hot, but the shop made it right with a flush and refill. Another guy forgot to fully seat a rim on the wife's car, about shook her fillings out, but the shop made it right.

A Previous shop did my oil change on the alignment rack and drove it off at the end of the alignment before refilling the sump--they wouldn't have told me except I was waiting for the car and caught them. Once I made them make it good with a flush, R&R pan, and synthetic refill, they became the previous shop.

My point is as Ronald Reagan used to say "Trust, but verify."

Yeah that's pretty shady of them not to say something. But most likely, only the guy that did the damage knew, and he was probably just trying to hide it, so he didn't let his boss know and hoped you wouldn't notice.

Glad they're fixing it for you!
