Im new here, and dont know if this has been asked. I have a 03 ram 2500 and the 4x4 shift lever moves alot when I hit bumps or hit the gas.I have already changed the mount under the t-case.What else would make this move so much? I've had nothing but problems with this truck since I bought it,have lots of frontend problems also, but will get to that later. Thanks

Check the engine mounts as well. I must say I have an 05 2500 4x4 and I get a lot of movement too. All of my mounts are good tho.

is there a way too get rid of the free play in the steering? I have replaced all the linkage, but still have some play.

There is a DIY in the 2nd gen forum, but it applies to us too. Apparently you just need to carefully adjust a nut or screw on the top of the steering gear box.

Mine on my 03 1500 moves slightly North-South when I hammer the gas in 4 Hi but other than that stays put.

My transfer case moves too while accelerating or slowing. All the time. IN 2wd OR 4wd. I figured it was normal. Is it not?
