So Im planning on replacing my front turn signal to leds the socket is 3157 and uses 3 wires. one for ground, parking lights and the last one for turn signal. to prevent hyperflash I know I need to add a resistor to the turn signal circuit to ground. But what im not sure about is the lamp out on the sash. does the computer need a resistor for the parking wire to or is the one on the turn signal circuit just needed. in other words does the computer just check the turn signal circuit or both.
I did check around and one thread did do a conversion but with a 2006 model truck which uses a canbus: heres the link http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=67129
I forgot to mention my truck is an 05
what do you guys think?
