Normally I avoid ebay headlights, but I replaced the lighting system with retrofit projectors. Its cheap for a reason, but results will obviously vary depending on the brand and luck.

Your best bet is to retrofit your existing lights or simply add additional auxiliary lighting. I've never modified mine because after researching, none of the aftermarket lights come anywhere close to OEM quality.

TYC makes a good replacement light. Nothing sexy like projectors, halos or LEDs. I've had a set on my truck for two years now, and never had a leak or adjuster break. They do have smoked and clear versions for '06+, not sure about '05 and earlier.

I guess I got lucky! Bought these on eBay a month ago and love them.

Originals were faded:

I learned a long time ago that whenever you buy a set of cheap headlights, the first thing you need to do is seal them really well around the seams or they'll get condensation. The next thing to do is seal the actual surface with a good sealer like Chemical Guys JetSeal to protect them from UV damage. If you take the extra time to do a few small things, you can end up with a good set of lights for a fraction of the cost.

Moister isn't a big deal where I live (Los Gatos, Ca) I'm more worried about heat. :)

I purchased a pair of the smoke ones off eBay for about 70$ and they fit up perfect I did take them off for now til other things are finished body work wise but I did use a silicone seal around them and any other area I suspected of causing as issue down the line. I've purchased many headlights for cars off eBay over the years and never had an issue. So if u prep it right they should work just fine. I used clear rtv silicone on all of them except this pair I went with the black one.
